Connie Britton is perhaps best known for her role of Tami Taylor in the critically acclaimed television drama "Friday Night Lights". Connie moved to New York after graduating college and studied with Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse. She then spent an additional two years performing in regional theater and off-Broadway productions. Connie had a regular role in "Spin City" and also had a recurring role on "24" during its fifth season. She also starred in the original "Friday Night Lights" movie, playing the head coach’s wife. More recently, she appeared in the remake of "A Nightmare on Elm Street".
